AJOCC is proud to welcome our local community to celebrate the Ethiopian Israeli holiday of Sigd.
You’re invited to join us as we amplify the voices of your local Jewish neighbors, guest speakers Miriam Areta and Sarah Gegeyehu, for an intimate, thought-provoking conversation about the history, culture, food and music of the Beta Israel community.
We’ll also be providing a guide on how to incorporate the celebration of Sigd into your life with recipes, Torah selections and fun activities.
