
The Atlanta Jews of Color Council is excited to partner with the 24th annual Atlanta Jewish Film Festival! Tickets are now on sale! AJFF returns to metro Atlanta theaters February 13-26, with select titles available to stream February 27 – March 7, 2024.
Join AJOCC for a screening of RABBI ON THE BLOCK by Brad Rothschild is set in the heart of Chicago’s South Side, and follows the charismatic Rabbi Tamar Manasseh, a community activist who works tirelessly to bridge African American and Jewish communities. Rabbi Tamar embodies tikkun olam, employing the transformative power of faith in advocating for a just society and affirmation of Black Jews within the wider Jewish community. Rabbi Tamar will be in Atlanta to open the screening herself, and provide a special private meet-and-greet for AJOCC members. Email us to register and use our seating block code; spaces are limited. February 25, 3:00pm at the Plaza Theater.

Another Jew of Color whom we’re also looking forward to participating in festival is multi-talented Rain Pryor, daughter of the late Richard Pryor. She will be acting as a Building Bridges Juror.
